I had the honor of watching TDKR during a screening and was completely blown away! Christopher Nolan's third film in his Batman trilogy doesn't disappoint. The movie is incredibly well made, its huge production is quite breathtaking to view. This is a true cinematic experience, to behold. The movie exceeded my expectations in terms of action, and entertainment. The movie's score high-lites many of its incredible scenes, and at times, it takes your breath away.

The film featured excellent performances, by all the cast. Christian Bale, as always is great as Batman. Anne Hathaway was completely engrossing, she became "Catwoman", just like Michele Pfeiffer did, although their interpretations were very different, both were equally effective. Tom Hardy was the main villain "Bane" completely shattered my expectations. One of the best superhero movie villains, I've ever seen. The terror caused by him, is completely believable and quite menacing. Marlion Cotilliard, Michael Cane, Gary Oldman, and others all did well in their respective roles. Now I know most will miss Heath Ledger as the Joker.(I know I do) I hope people don't compare Tom Hardy's performance to Heath Ledger's, its completely unfair and the two characters are very different. Just read the comics.

The colossal size of the film is a spectacle to behold, but surprisingly you don't get lost with all the explosions and extravagant action scenes, like in other films,(AKA Transformers, or POTC.) If one were to gripe, and I suppose there will never be a film made that one cannot find a point at which to grip, it is painfully long running time here. I found myself more worried about the pain in my posterior than the emotional final minutes after almost 3 hours that I had spent in a cramped seat, but that's just how I am. However the ending is just fantastic, so emotional and bring the trilogy to a very satisfying end.

Sorry if I'm being all fan-boyish and kissing this movie's behind, but I really admire it. It may not be among my personal favorites but generally this seems to be the movie event of this year. As a film though, this is amazing. A true lasting legacy in superhero story telling and summer-blockbusters.

But after reaching the peak of success, Both the leads start to become miserable to the question of having more importance in the unique cocktail. An unstoppable fight of ego comes in action And the clash drifts them apart, destroying every greatness they achieved and every possible milestones they could build together.

I must accept that Balki is a master director.

The audacity with which Balki has given homage to Bachchan baritone is spellbinding. It is not just a tribute to Bachchan baritone but also an awe-inspiring ode to perishability of a man's life.

In his third directorial venture, Balki takes the voice of Mr. Bachchan and puts it on Dhanush. Got gooseflesh? Yes, it is a daring attempt. Surprisingly, Balki flourishes in this attempt.

Shamitabh revolves around three characters primarily: an actor Danish, a voice lender Amitabh and a bubbly assistant director Akshara.

A big wow then to Amitabh Bachchan, the film's marvelous pivot. We shouldn't be surprised by anymore Bachchanism, but the man -- currently, constantly pushing himself onto a limb, decidedly making 2015 his own -- is an indisputable rockstar.

Dhanush proves his supremacy yet again. The actor is natural all through, but his performance in the finale makes the character all the more believable. Akshara is such a revelation. She stands on her feet despite a formidable co-star's domineering presence.

Director Balki shows a flair for light entertainers and the execution of certain sequences is commendable. Cinematography is splendid. Ilaiyaraaja's musical score is soothing. The title track is soft on your ear drums. Editing could've been sharper. Ideally, a few repetitive moments can be done away with.

Shamitabh isn't a groundbreaking film, but it didn't set out to be?!

Overall, it's a maturely written film with great characters, tremendous performances and some fantastic moments.

When you go to watch a disaster film, remember you're not going in there for the plot. You're going in there for the special effects and incredible moments of tension.

Does 'San Andreas' deliver these core elements? Yes, very much so.

In one word, the movie feels 'tight', as in tightly made. No needless exposition, or characters that shouldn't be there, everything on the screen works for it's place. The actors look natural in their roles. Dwayne Johnson surprised me with his abilities as an actor, the emotions of his character were real. In fact, he was the best of the lot. The special effects are done well. For a moment I thought to myself 'they've really taken time to get it right and make it realistic to a real earthquake or tsunami' because they have. Again, the plot is not the core element but it works. I won't say anything about it, except for this; while it's something we've seen before, it's done well and made interesting.

It's been an hour since I walked out of the cinema, so having chewed this movie in my mind, I could recommend it to anyone.

Bollywood is completely lost and if movies like Ek Paheli Leela don't stop making money, god knows what's going to happen in the future. Sunny Leone is nowhere near a good actress and when movies are churned out to make money from her skin show I just cant handle it. Somehow I sat through the 2 hours plus travesty hoping that the film would lead somewhere. The entire run-time the screenplay meanders nowhere before hitting us with senseless climax. There is precious little story and whatever is told is absolute nonsense about rebirth and building a sculpture of Sunny which had no aim whatsoever. The screenplay is shorter than Sunny's skirt and filled tiresome and forced item numbers. Well, I already knew that this movie was not going to be some classic still it is an insult to film making. Another unbearable film released just about a month after the dud called 'Roy'. Highly avoidable.

Furious Seven Movie Reviews

I rarely write reviews but i feel this one deserves one that isn't one of the overwhelmingly clouded reviews, that mix real world tragedy into the rating of a fictional piece of work.

The movie is entertaining for everyone that knows what to expect and the ridiculousness of the action scenes is fun in itself. Other than that, this movie is far away from the masterpiece a lot of people make it out to be. Especially the serious parts of the dialogue are a 101 on clichéd movie lines and the story is as surprising as the content of a bag of chips. Paul Walker was a decent actor and his death is mourned by many but an emotional 5 minute tribute at the end of the movie, that also seems tacked on in terms of the storyline, is swaying many into thinking they witnessed a new Shawshank Redemption or The Godfather movie.

If you are a fan of the series you're in for a great ride and if you're into action movies in general you won't waste your time with this one. Just keep an honest perspective about this movies place in history.

As I sat in the theater watching this horrible train wreck of a movie, I couldn't help but mourn the Western genre. Where has it gone? The last good western I remember seeing was Unforgiven. This isn't even close...not by a zillion miles.

James Badge Dale, Ethan Embry, and William Forseythe star in this tired Hatfield and McCoy type story about a Civil War vet returning home after the war and the strife between two feuding families. The movie plays out at a snails pace and becomes drawn out and impossible to sit through. To be honest, I dozed in and out the entire time because it just couldn't hold my attention. It didn't help that the director was attempting to channel Malick on some of the shots because it just made it more mundane than it already was.

Add to that the fact that some of the roles were miscast and you have a really bad movie.

Finally, a horror/thriller that actually, genuinely scares the crap out of you. Not because it has fancy villains in masks or sadistic buckets of gore throughout. No, it scares you because it messes with your mind. Most will hate this movie, they don't like their brains being tampered with. I loved it. It's what we needed after all those gory R-rated and sometimes lame-duck PG-13 horror crap-fests.

The horror/thriller genre has been raped lately, with gore and scantily clad- women replacing the noir and terror that Alfred Hitchcock perfected in the '50s and '60's. Here director Martin Scorsese delivers in full blast, crafting a thriller in his own unique vision. The atmosphere throughout the movie is tense and unsettling. Slow as it may be, but it is crucial to the movie and it's genuinely gripping. Your attention WILL not be lost. The scenery is beautiful and finely done with no excessive lighting, grain or darkness. The editing by Thelma Schoonmaker is fluid and pitch-perfect, and never makes the film lose focus. The movie is based on a book by Dennis Lehane and is packed with twists and turns that will leave you breathless and uneasy. The movie cranks the breathlessness and uneasiness up to the power of 5. The music is also perfectly suited with the scenes. There is sometimes no music during suspenseful moments, and sometimes the music makes the scene even more disturbing and memorable. Alfred Hitchcock's noirish thriller style is back with a vengeance, here to teach today's moviegoers the REAL meaning of suspense and horror.

All the actors in the movie are in top-form. Once again, you can't go wrong with a Leonardo DiCaprio/Martin Scorsese collaboration. As the protagonist, we the audience are thrust into his shoes and we are about as confused and scared as his character is, we feel what he feels. It becomes a psychological trip that poses many, many questions about oneself, that to discuss them here would spoil the entire movie. There are some flashbacks in the movie, but all of them are important clues to DiCaprio's character. DiCaprio gives a stunning performance, once again tempting the Academy to give him another Best Actor nomination. DiCaprio gives a vivid portrayal of a vulnerable, haunted and ultimately terrified man. Apart from DiCaprio there's really not much I can say about the supporting cast, because they are all also terrific. Ben Kingsley; Mark Ruffalo; Michelle Williams; Max Von Sydow; Jackie Earle Haley; Emily Mortimer; Patricia Clarkson; Ted Levine; Elias Koteas; John Carroll Lynch. All of them.

In short, this is a psychological and frightening masterpiece that will make you scared, will make you think, and will make you seek psychological help. This is one of the best films of the year. See it, go in with an open mind and prepare to be blown away.
